Weblog Awards 2008 voting is underway. Vote for your favorite blogs in 48 categories. The blog award categories range from best photo blog to best cartoon blog to best Asian blog. It is almost too many categories to comprehend but I do appreciate the range in an effort to recognize the diverse gifts that bloggers worldwide.
Because I personally have a soft spot for the little guys here are the finalists in some of the “little” categories.

I can’t say that I always agree with the winners of these contests, but I do always appreciate learning about different blogs. I almost always come away with a new blog or two to add to my feed when I peruse the finalists. Maybe you will too.

Hmm a couple of images are showing on the blog now but still seeing about 90% are just little red Xs. Hopefully it will get fixed and stay fixed soon!

Hmm a little more sleuthing I found out that drcarson.org looks great in FireFox and Chrome. I was grading student assignments in the unforgiving Internet Explorer when I decided to take a break and check out weblog awards. Unfortunately, IE wasn’t being very forgiving about the flickr stream.
