The best business blogs have clean and streamlined design but sometimes a girl just wants to have fun. Personal blogs are the place where you can indulge in a little bit of whimsy and clutter. Your business blog should reflect the same aesthetics of your business but a personal blog can take on the feel of your living room or kitchen. I have come across two free WordPress Themes that convey that in a fun way.

Notepad Chaos from Smashing Magazine reminds me of my desktop. It is full of art and information. I love the handwriting, if only mine was that neat! If it was widgetized, I would have used it for this blog. 

Another popular theme is Coffee Desk.  The theme author has provided a number of color options to choose from. This one is widgetized, which gives it additional flexibility. I love the idea of this one but the  header is a too tall for my personal tastes. I can imagine that it really fits the personality of some bloggers though. This one is widgetized, which gives it additional flexibility.
