Woopra
Woopra is the world’s most comprehensive, information rich, easy to use, real-time Web tracking and analysis application. And it’s free!
What is Woopra?
Woopra is a program that you install and run on your computer. It is not a web application, but interacts with the web application. It is a Java application and runs on Mac, Windows and Linux. You can view stats online but it the desktop application that really shines with dynamic graphics.
Instant Updates
Whereas Google analytics is updated 8-24 hours, Woopra is live. It blinks and shows you live ticker tape on your basic stats.
The instant feedback is great for testing Twitter announcement, banners and other promotion activities. Don’t waste time on ads and announcements not working. Change it when your topic is still HOT!
Turn your cold hard facts into REAL people
Each user activity is logged and stored chronologically. Initially each visitor is a number but once they log in or comment on your blog, their id number becomes a name. You can track activity by user. Their avatar even shows up on the live stats. Want to talk to the visitors on your site? You can when you install Woopra, it enables an AJAX call that allows you to live chat with your visitor with no installation on their part. Right now it is for 1:1 only but group chat is down the line.
Statistics Organization
The statistics rival Google analytics, providing even more information on blog and web site directories. The referrers group statistics by domains, search engines, social bookmarking sites, social network sites and feedreaders. Also, provides some nice email tracking on your email categories.
Custom event notification
Lots of options to give you a pop up alert when a visit matches that filter. Maybe you want to respond immediately to a visitor comment, set an alert. Or maybe you want to know immediately when you get a hit from the blog where you just submitted a guest article.
