The goal of this World AIDS Day 2008 blog carnival is first and foremost to promote HIV/AIDS awareness. To encourage blogger participation, I have been working to gather prizes. I have seated a small panel of judges consisting of individuals living with HIV and individuals who work daily to prevent HIV infection and to reduce [...] Check out some of these ideas for Bloggers Unite for AIDS that I discovered while surfing. Any red ribbon–cloth, paper, licorice– [...] HIV/AIDS has dealt a staggering blow to individual, families, communities and cultures over the last 27 years. The cost is human life, human suffering, productivity and creativity has been traumatic. World AIDS day started in 1988 as a means of increasing awareness, education, treatment and funding, changing policy and sharing grief. |
